Welcome Home

I started this blog to offer anyone an opportunity to comment on the ideas related to The Roadmap Home. I will include ideas from my book to stimulate discussion. I look forward to your ideas, feedback and personal experiences related to the process of of Awakening and connecting with your internal GPS, The Guiding Power of Spirit.

We live in an incredible time of transition. More people are waking up. This can be quite frightening because we are moving away from established beliefs toward a deeper connection to our True Self.

To appreciate the awakening process, imagine a long day of adapting to the countless demands of the world. We finish the night exhausted, ready for bed and fall fast asleep. We soon enter dreamland which seems so real that we soon believe they're reality. While in the dream, we wander as orphans lost from our home. Our internal GPS, Guiding Power of Spirit, sets off an alarm and reminds us that it is only a dream. We may ignore the wake-up calls and bury ourselves under the covers. After persistent prodding and flashing signs, we eventually answer the call. Thus begins our awakening.

We're initially reluctant to climb out of our comfortable bed of beliefs. In order to break free of the paralyzing frightening dream, we must let go of our fears and heal our mind. With ongoing practice we strengthen the heartbeat of connection so we can return home. Once there we experience sublime moments of inner peace and Oneness. However, the material world intrudes once again and we fall back asleep ready to repeat the cycle.

We spiral through this awakening cycle countless times until we expand our time at home with our True Self.
